The Internet Marketing blog of Mike Merz, Internet Marketing consultant, in regards to what's hot ... and what's not, in the world of Internet Marketing.
... in your Online Business?
I've asked that question in conversations with a number
of Internet Marketers over the past few months ... some
of them are household names in the niche ... and they all
kind of looked back at me with an expression reminiscent
of the RCA dog (AKA tilting one's head slightly to one side
with the apparent look of slight confusion and curiosity
on their face. Google 'his master's voice', and do an image
search ... you'll get what I mean.).
Seems none of them had ever thought of using one of the
major Audio Video chat communities as a tool to add
another dimension to interacting with prospects, customers,
or peers ...
Hmmm ... that surprised me. Was I the only one I knew
that felt it a great way to qualify? ... build interest? ... trust?
... add value? ... knock down walls? ... seriously 'open things
up' ?
Up to now, I've heard many of them say ... 'yeah, that
sounds like a cool idea ...', yet no one was actually using
(in my circles) the technology offered by popular Audio
Video chat community providers like PalTalk.com to take
interaction with their subscribers, clients, or JV partners
to the next level ... and though PalTalk.com, themselves,
have attracted the likes of popular 'shock jocks' Opie and
Anthony and Ron and Fez, Late Night With David
Letterman band leader Paul Schaffer, comedienne Fran
Drescher, and many other high profile celebrities ... no
one in my circles has used this medium to ...
... hold webinars, training calls, brainstorming sessions,
broadcast seminars, host their own 'TV' shows, and anything
else their tools and your creativity can muster.
It can't be because it's too expensive ... compared to most
web conferencing software and services, it can be fully
utilized for a fraction of the cost ... for example, a group of
up to 10 can 'Super IM' (text, audio, and video) for free via
PalTalk ... and even their premium services are
comparatively inexpensive.
I guess what this blog post boils down to is I honestly think
using a major Audio Video chat service will help you and
your business ... and PalTalk.com is my personal
recommendation.
It's free to sign up ... so you have nothing to lose.
Give it a look see ... try it out ... kick the tires ... and see how
others are using PalTalk.com to build their businesses.
Best,
Mike
